SHOW COMMITMENT TO FACE STRATEGIC ISSUES: AGRIBUSINESS STUDY PROGRAM FORMULATING THE AGRIBUSINESS LABORATORY RESEARCH ROADMAP

The Agribusiness Study Program held a Research Roadmap Workshop within the Scope of the Agribusiness Laboratory on Wednesday (3/8). The agenda was held in the Meeting Room of Prof. Arifin Sallatang and attended by lecturers and employees.

This workshop is aimed at reinforcing research in the scope of agribusiness in preparation for reviving laboratory research activities after being vacuumed during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the discussion of this research roadmap is also intended so that students and lecturers in the Agribusiness Program have a clear research theme each year, so that the resulting research can be a solution to contemporary strategic issues faced in that year.

Prof. Rahim Darma, Head of the Agribusiness Laboratory, became the trigger on the agenda of the meeting by presenting the results of his draft roadmap which was then discussed with the teaching staff who were present at the time. From the discussion, it was agreed that there will be 14 strategic issues, the list still continue according to agricultural conditions, which will be the focus of research for students and lecturers in the next few years in the laboratory.
