The Agribusiness study program, Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta), Hasanuddin University held a public lecture at Prof. Fachruddin Hall, Hasanuddin University Graduate School on February 9, 2023. This activity aims to improve the quality of the Agribusiness Study Program curriculum at Hasanuddin University.
This activity is in collaboration with the Master Agribusiness Study Program of the Unhas Postgraduate School and Indonesia Agribusiness Association (AAI) Sulselbar. This event was attended by lecturers and undergraduate and postgraduate Agribusiness students. The holding of this lecture is expected to increase the knowledge and perspectives of lecturers and students in compiling a curriculum that is able to answer the challenges and demands of the times in the era of Society 5.0.
In his lecture, the Education and Culture Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra Australia, Prof. Mukhamad Najib revealed the development of human civilization and how the agribusiness sector must adjust in an increasingly developing era.
“As foreign countries have applied technology such as AI in supporting their farming businesses, Indonesia has also begun to adapt and adopt technology to keep up with the times,” said Prof. Najib.
