Dr. Bayu Krisnamurthi from IPB University elected as Chairperson of the Indonesian Agribusiness Association (AAI) Management Period 2019 – 2023 by acclamation at the AAI National Conference held at The Rinra Hotel Makassar on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. In addition to electing the General Chairperson, the National Conference also appointed Dr. .Muh. Hatta Jamil from Hasanuddin University as Secretary-General of AAI.

In AAI National Conference in Makassar, all the management of the 2013-2019 AAI has been declared outgoing until the establishment of the AAI administration in 2019-2023. Through this National Conference, it emphasized that AAI is an organization of human resource development and agribusiness professionalism consisting of individuals and institutions. Individual membership was consists of personal, farmers, and government employees related to agribusiness, while the group of the institution consists of study programs, companies, and other institutions in the field of agribusiness. The elected Chairperson and Secretary-General of AAI was mandated to compile a complete management of AAI Period 2019-2023, the formulation of AD / ART, AAI membership, Regional Management, and Work Plan will be confirmed and determined at the AAI 2020 Congress planned to be carried out in April 2020 in Bogor.
